Helpful Hints and Tips for the Perfect Korean BBQ Experience
Cleaning the Grill:
After each use, our staff will clean the grill. However, during your meal, you can ask for a fresh grill plate if needed to avoid any flavour mixing.
How to Eat Traditionally:
Samgyeopsal (Pork Belly): Grill the pork belly and wrap it in lettuce with a bit of rice, a slice of garlic, and a dab of ssamjang (spicy bean paste).
Galbi (Short Ribs): Best enjoyed with a side of kimchi and a bowl of rice. Cook to your preferred level of doneness and savour the sweet and savoury flavours.
Heat Settings, Fan Use & Cooking Instructions
Heat Settings:
The grills have adjustable heat settings. Start on high to sear the meat, then lower the heat to cook through without burning.
Fan Use:
Always leave the fan on when grilling to manage smoke and maintain a comfortable dining environment. When not using the grill, you can turn the fan off to reduce noise.
Cooking Times:
Beef: Thin slices of beef, such as bulgogi, cook quickly – about 2-3 minutes per side.
Chicken: Ensure chicken is cooked thoroughly, approximately 4-5 minutes per side depending on thickness.
Pork: Pork should be cooked well-done, around 3-4 minutes per side for thin slices.
